Petey is the sweetest dog and anyone that lays their eyes upon him would have to shake their head at the passed bylaw on these animals. But regardless of how well he behaves there are certain rules that must be followed when owning this type of dog. So I abide. My dog, when let out into our backyard, is fenced in. He is always supervised. And when I take him for a walk he is leashed and properly muzzled. He is pretty well trained and is under my control. I pay attention to our surroundings and when encountering other people and dogs I either move to the opposite side of the street or get my dog to calmly sit by my side while the other dog passes. I follow the rules, and Petey is a very well trained and sweet dog. This is why he is an inspiration to me and why I have written the "Petey The Pitbull" saga's. The short stories, I think, are heart warming, fun, and perhaps even a little educational. (Illustrating the kindness of this breed)
